The Flood of 2004

The E.L. Thumper, Jenny B, and Katie H were unable to overcome the

swift flood waters of the recent flood.  They managed to make it about

2 miles from home when their speed dropped to 0.0 on the GPS.

Check back, there will be more photos posted on this event.

A special thank-you to Bill Doyle, who is a friend and crew

member of the E.L. Thumper.  His efforts helped ensure a

Light-Up Night 2003.

After Jack and Kathy spent several hours hanging Christmas lights and inflating decorations, the rains began.  It rained, and rained...until the river had flooded over the walkway to the Landing.  We decided to skip the trip to "The Point", but only after a short ride to admire the hard work.
