Welcome to the E.L. Thumper History Page.....actually, it's the evolution of a sternwheel boat from 1971 thru today.

	1971 - The first attempt at a homemade sternwheel driven boat built on oil drums
	1974 - An entirely new boat is started.
	1975 - The start of the evolution...a new steel hull is built to replace the oil drums.
	1978 - The hull is made longer and wider to support a larger motor and paddlewheel.
	1979 - Another entirely new hull is built to support the bigger motor and paddlewheel.
	1982 - The finished boat is cut in half lengthwise and made wider.
	2004 - The "E.L. Thumper" as she appears today.
